Health and fitness have been a fundamental part of Shawn’s life. He has played competitive sports since the age of seven and continues to challenge himself as a member of a senior men’s baseball league in Ontario. Before returning home from 2 years in Puerto Rican Baseball League, Shawn went to college in Rochester, NY on a Baseball scholarship and graduated with honors and a Business Administration Associates Degree (B.A.A). Although business was his first choice his passion for sports and intrigue to test human endurance and strength leads him to the fitness arena. Shawn has since then went back to school to study, human functional anatomy, exercise physiology, and biomechanics. He is now not studying to be a specialist in his field of training and has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for seven years. The greatest motivation for Shawn as a fitness professional is to help his clients maintain a healthy lifestyle and achieve their own personal fitness goals. Shawn constructs individualized programs for his clients in order to meet their specific needs. He specializes in sports specific training and core development. He also, uses a “Pilates” inspired approach to training, focusing on internal core strengthening and posture alignment.
